Hawai‘i State Public Library System Closes Three Maui branches on August 15, 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 14, 2026
HONOLULU — Three Maui libraries, Kahului Public Library, Kīhei Public Library, and Makawao Public Library, will be closed on Saturday, August 15, 2026 due to the anticipated storm. All Maui programs have also been canceled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
